Heskin Radiophonic
Heskin Radiophonic Workshop is my attempt at making interesting, quirky electronica. Ten years as a bassist with Mechagodzilla and a period as a samplist/sampler (whatever) with Narcosis prepared me for making a racket and the world of computer music. Since taking up the laptop, I struggle with lack of time, lack of talent and lack of understanding.

In September 2007 my debut album Defiantly Glad was released on iTunes through Goldfilling Records. This featured ten songs of glitch and melody. Over the course of the succeeding releases Wait For No Man and 雪月花時最憶君 my music has become more ambient and drone based, and also more guitar based. The first two tracks on 雪月花時最憶君 contain nothing but sounds wrung from a guitar.

In early 2008 I launched my own netlabel, Fwonk* Records, featuring the work of artists I know and admire. I produced many of the beats on the debut rap album from Flash. I have worked with De La Mancha, a musician and VST developer on the initial concepts behind the Erratic drum machine, and Thrummaschine distortion effect.
